Georgia’s Public Defender Nino Lomjaria summed up the year of 2019 with respect to the situation of human rights in Georgia.
She named staffing of Supreme Court with life-term judges as one of the main problems and claimed that the Supreme Council of Justice failed to persuade the observers in the competence of the selected judicial candidates.
